Hello all

I would just like to say what a massive pleasure it was when i messaged Wendy & Simon to see if it would be ok for me to add details of the Charity Sky Dive to my new Website. Having a bit of spare room i wanted to try and put it to some good so added 2 details of charities that i like to support that friends have a lot to do with. After talking with Wendy and Simon i realised that the old group called the “Les Lavender Cancer Crusade” which i remember joining a number of years ago on Facebook was empty all bar Wendy & Lisa (the 2 admins for the group).

old group

After Wendy had mentioned that it was hard to get the word out about fundraising events now with the Kingfisher being shut, I wanted to help in more ways, So i mentioned about a Facebook Page which was set up and is collecting followers at a steady pace. But I wanted to do something else, a place where they could up date and spread word not just through Facebook, somewhere that could be updated with different items and media for future fundraising but also to remember everything that has already been done. So that is when this website was born expect a bit of editing over the coming days as most has been done by me as a surprise for Wendy & Simon.

So any incorrect data or details please blame me but it will be corrected if there is anything 🙂

Last thing that i would like to say is a massive Good Luck to Simon for the Sky Dive and for all future fundraising events that you and the community hold I hope you get all the support and help that you deserve.

Cheers

Chris
